hello there!

I'm Nicole Nguyen!

I'm a medical student turned UX Designer.

With a background in health sciences, I have a passion for understanding people and figuring out how to help them. Asking 'how' and 'why'  fuels my curiosity, and I love using this to solve problems and improve my work.

I'm always looking for challenges or something new to get my hands on.

My Career so far

I went to school to become a Physical Therapist, majoring in health and exercise sciences. My interests changed a year and a half later, and I focused my studies on the brain and Psychology. Throughout that time, I gained experience in research methods and methodologies. I learned to understand human behavior and empathy, helping me aim for the target users in my projects.

Through the Interaction Design Foundation, I learned to transition my psychology research into User Research and learn design methodologies. I was able to apply this education with The Google UX Professional Certificate as well as learn how to use the prototyping softwares: Figma and Adobe XD.

My enjoyment grew through the challenges and creativity the UX field provided. I'm always eager learn about what's changing in the field, and how to improve my work.
